Bespoke Tailoring Process

Next you will be advised on the materials that will be used to create your garment. A typical suit consists of two layers: the outer fabric and the inner lining. The outer layer is usually made from materials such as wool, cotton, linen, or microfiber, or a combination of these fabrics, while the lining is typically crafted from silk or Bemberg fabric.

In this step, you will choose the design you desire, typically an English style or an Italian design, either a single-breasted or a double-breasted suit. Additionally, you will finalize design details such as collar styles, button types, pocket configurations, and stitching patterns to ensure that the suit truly reflects your personal taste. There are many factors and terms that can be confusing when you first tailor a suit, but the staff at Cazo Tailor will explain each one to help you achieve the most satisfactory suit

The next step is to take precise measurements to ensure a perfect fit. At Cazo, we use careful measuring techniques to capture every detail of your body shape. We will take about 30 measurements to ensure your suit fits well, considering all the unique aspects of your physique. This process usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes.

After about 1-2 days, you will return to Cazo to try on your suit for the first time. This fitting allows both the tailor and you to assess how the garment is progressing and identify any necessary adjustments.

During the first fitting, your suit will not be completely finished. You may not see details like buttons or pockets, and one sleeve or part of the sleeve might be missing.

At this point, you will share your impressions of the suit and make any requests to the tailor, such as whether the suit feels too tight or loose on your body. This feedback will help the tailor perfect your suit.

After 1-2 days following the first fitting, you will be invited for the second fitting, where your suit is now approximately 90% complete. At this stage, only minor details remain unfinished, such as buttonholes or any excess threads.

The purpose of the second fitting is to evaluate the adjustments made after the first fitting and to ensure that the suit is aligning perfectly with your body shape and preferences. This fitting is crucial for fine-tuning the final details, allowing you to assess the overall look and comfort of the garment. Your feedback during this session helps the tailor make any last-minute tweaks to ensure a flawless fit.

After all bespoke tailoring and adjustments are finalized, we will notify you that your suit is ready for collection. During this final appointment, you will have the chance to examine the completed suit and confirm that it meets your expectations in every detail. If you have any concerns, the Cazo team will address them promptly to ensure your complete satisfaction, making sure your suit aligns perfectly with your vision.
